Behind every great woman is an abundance of bulleted lists + some sick tunes

Without lists my life might fall apart.

A Bible from 1875, my friend gave it to me. I love the hilariously white, angelic Jesus bookmark.

A wonderful book on identifying houseplants.

A Spanish book which I bought because I found it so funny, the way it tries to spell out the pronunciation of each word haha. Me gustan los way-bos re-bwel-tos.

I found a Spanish leaflet about Falmouth on my adventures, and also this adorable book by Philippa Rice. I have loved it for years and found it on sale so I couldn't resist.

Also, I thought I'd just share the albums I've bought recently, because sharing is caring and these are some sick tunes. You know I love music but for me to actually buy an album it has to be really special. However, I've had a bit of a revelation over the past few months about the importance of buying music, or to word it better, how perhaps it's good to actually pay for the songs that I've listened to hundreds of times for free (on Youtube). Out of respect and appreciation I guess, also it's just great to own music and be able to take it around with you. It's not like I won't be getting my money's worth, especially when albums are so cheap on iTunes and in second hand shops. To quote another Hayley William's gem: “Support music every day because there isn’t a day music won’t be there for you".

  • Takk - Sigur Rós
  • Ellipse - Imogen Heap

  • Post - Björk

  • My Love is Cool - Wolf Alice

  • The Bones of What You Believe - Chvrches

As you can see I have rediscovered the joys of the scanner! You'll be glad to hear I have a couple more scanner-related posts to come, see ya then.
