My plants

I've been getting more and more into plants over the last couple of years, but at the moment I think it's fair to say I'm a little obsessed! This spring/summer mine seem to have grown a lot and come to life a bit more, which is exciting, and since visiting the Cactus Shop I am just all about plants. I had been reluctant to do this "plant collection" post because I was shy about how some of them aren't the healthiest, some are a little stretched and leggy. But I'm over that now, I admit that it's hard growing these plants on a not very sunny windowsill in a not very sunny place called the UK.

This was my collection a couple of weeks ago:

Water droplets for ~aesthetic~.

The more I read about cacti and succulents, the more I find that I didn't know and am actually doing wrong! This website has been really useful and I plan on becoming a full on plant nerd who knows stuff.

These are my new pals, the ones from the Cactus Shop which my grandparents got for me. Fortunately I managed to squueze them onto my windowsill, but I am really pushing it now! I had to move my big leafy Chlorophytum somewhere else to make space. One day I will have a little house that has lots of biiig windowsills and lots of natural light and lots and lots of plants everywhere. At the moment my main issue is what will happen when I go to university in September, whether I will take them with me or not. Maybe a few, I'm not sure.

Being the clumsy person that I am, I dropped my new plants the same day I got them home!! They are all fine, but this guy here suffered the loss of a few limbs. So I decided to plant them in the hope that the grow into individual plants.

I am also trying to propogate these leaves below which fell off some of the succulents.

That's it! My plant collection! I hope you liked seeing them, I'll be back to something not plant-related next time! (All the exclamation marks!! ! ! !!!!!!)
