One person's craziness is another person's reality

Hey!

I'm very happy because I didn't have to go to school today (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ not that school's bad at the moment but no school is better, you know.

Here I am demonstrating the importance of dressing up even when you're home alone all day. It's kind of a HOORAY OCTOBER outfit, I think the skirt is a bit Autumny and Jack Skellington, of course, October is like super Tim Burton month or something.

I had this thought that if I was
Sally the Ragdoll I would be wearing my
boyfriend's face on my tights (and my belt actually lol)
and I thought that was pretty cool.
Then I realised it was quite creepy and I'm quite
really weird.

Ok I lied. I did pop to the charity shop and get a couple of things (really exciting things that will probably share one day in the distant future AKA a cool shirt, a poncho, and a Pocahontas cup because I'm seven years old), but apart from that I stayed at home and did art and photography homework. I thought I'd show some pages from my books here because I feel like I do a lot of stuff that no one else ever sees which is a bit sad really.

Acrylic painting

Mixed-media work

Moodboard (collages forever <3)

 Biro drawing

Watercolour painting

Collage

More moodboards (fun fact - I always try and get as many of favourite people into my books as possible, spot Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter, Florence Welch, Tilda Swinton, Tavi Gevinson, Winona Ryder, Johnny Depp etc etc)

Sewing into photos is my new thing

My tunes for the day

That's all for today, hopefully by my next post I will have transformed these cheap and tacky fake flowers into a flower crown #octobergoalz

And also hopefully I will have stopped crying that I can't go to this...

Bye lovelies and happy October! ♥

  1. Your art is insanely good! I especially love the biro drawings and the mixed media stuff and how you used all of those textures. I really like the skirt and the backpack (-out of curiosity) where'd you get them from?

    1. Thank you so so much!
The backpack was from WHSmith (really random place for a backpack I know) and the skirt was from a charity shop :)
I really like your blog by the way.

  2. I love your art, we have in common that we do collage, we listen the same music and we admire the same people, I liked a lot to see your notebook ^^

  3. Yooooo okay so I am like, super extreme friend crushing on you right now.

First of all, that outfit is SO BEYOND AMAZING The mismatching of patters, the colours, THE BELT LIKE WTF DUDE. Also sally’s song is my fave song and that movie is just fucking bloody brilliant.

Also your art is amazing and making me so super jealous of how amazing it is. You collage/moodboard is perfection and I wish I was cool enough to make tangible mood boards and not just reblog photos on tumblr and pretend I’m mood boarding. Thanks so much for sharing your sketchbook. It can be such a personal thing and it was wicked to see a lil part of your brain.
