You're my king and I'm your lionheart

☆ Greetings fellow earthlings ☆

My favourite thing about iTunes is when you click on an album and then it comes up in a little box and then all the writing and the background is in the same colour scheme as the album art. If you don't know what I mean, go look, it's hard to explain but super cool. So, I used this to make little collages and had fun looking through my recent photos for ones that also used similar colour schemes. Yay for colour nerdiness.

Meg Myers is pretty scary but this song is awesome, kind of classical with this amaaazing cello but then her screams are so raw and I just love gals who scream so it's a winner.

New Imogen Heap album woohoo! I was so excited for this to arrive in the post, partly because it was the first thing I've ever bought online and also because I'm a huge fan of Imogen's music and couldn't wait to listen to it non-stop, which I've done. The propeller seed photo goes with the last track of the album funnily enough called Propeller Seeds lol.

This song reminds me of dancing around with Pebbles friends at New Wine this year, which as always was great and the highlight of the year. Couldn't let this photo go by without mentioning these chunky sandals which I got for my birthday, so cool and so ugly, everything a good shoe should be. Of course they look even better with socks.

New Wine memories!! This album is so good, Susie Woodbridge is a new favourite. My mum and I ran around in the pouring rain to photograph this rainbow, that was fun.

Yeah I have two copies of this, that's how awesome Iko is (is or are? I don't know). This EP reminds me of driving through London on a school coach for hours with my Hello Kitty headphones on haha.

My most recent purchase. I love OMAM, the way each song is a little story, sort of dark but also joyful. Their music makes me want to go out and explore a forest and look for creatures. I really like Nanna, she's sweet and really funny, she's on my very long mental list of style inspirations too. The album seems to match well with my grandparents' kitchen windowsill.

Another song I picked up at New Wine, it's a good dance-y one so I recommend listening to it whilst getting dressed in the morning for a fun and uplifting start to the day. Featuring the sunset on the way home from Alton Towers (yep that's the Towers below).

I've listened to Elizabeth Grace's covers on YouTube for ages so I got her EP as soon as it came out. I can't believe she's 16, makes me feel like I've not done much with my life to be honest. She's so cool, I love her voice. There's a mix of happy and sad songs on this so I like that too.

Woah I didn't plan to actually write anything, but I like music a lot and it just sort of happened. On to another of my favourite topics, clothes.

This pose is called the 'holding skirt down and hat on in strong wind'. I like this picture because it's too dark so you can't see much and then there's my shoes which practically glow in the dark. Wooo I own some actual JuJus and I can tell you that they are 1000x comfier and less breakable than Primark's versions.

I am also very excited about owning a fabulous hat. This is a bit of a bargain outfit as both the shirt and the skirt I got from a charity shop for 30p and 60p each.

I hope you all had an amazing summer, I'm looking forward to wearing woolly jumpers again ≧◡≦

See you in my next post, until then I'll be on instagram (@pinkhairandcats) x
