Maybe I'm wasting my young years

I can't stop listening to London Grammar at the moment. I love finding new music because it stops me from listening to the same songs over and over until I'm sick of them. I love their sound; it's sort of spooky and other worldly but also really calming. They fit in with how I'm feeling at the moment. The word ethereal is constantly going round my head, if that kind of explains it? Maybe it's because I'm super tired and I just feel like floating around.

In photography at the moment I've been researching loads of really cool, surreal photographers for my project and thought I'd share a few of them here.

Her work is so dreamy and beautiful. She's inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites which is apparent in her photographs because many of them look like paintings.

I loved her quirky collages as soon as I saw them and it's even cooler because her work is often featured in Rookie.

His work is amazing. I love the dark and gloomy feel, and the details like the striped socks.

I love how simple these photos are, she appears to be so effortlessly floating yet she was actual in excruciating pain having been hung from the ceiling by a bondage expert. That's dedication.

These are so peaceful but also a bit creepy, I guess it depends on how you look at them. The water is so pretty in the second one.

I hope you're feeling inspired and sharing my ethereal vibes,

Bethany
